These terms and conditions govern the agreement between Harding Heating Ltd and the customer, hereinafter referred to as "you", for the provision of plumbing and heating services in the UK. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

1. Services

 

We will provide plumbing and heating services in accordance with the requirements agreed upon between us and you. We will use reasonable skill and care in providing our services.

 

2. Charges

We will provide you with an estimate of our charges before we commence any work. This estimate will be based on the information available to us at the time and may be subject to change if additional work is required. Our charges will be based on our standard hourly rate, as agreed with you, plus the cost of any materials used.

 

3. Payment

​

Payment is due in full upon completion of the work. We accept payment by cash, bank transfer or cheque. In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to charge interest at the rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate.

 

4. Liability

​

We hold public liability insurance to cover any damage caused to your property or any injury caused to a third party as a result of our work. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by events beyond our control.

 

5. Termination

​

Either party may terminate this agreement by giving written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, you will be liable for any work carried out up to the date of termination.

 

6. Dispute resolution

​

In the event of a dispute arising from this agreement, we will make every effort to resolve the dispute amicably. If this is not possible, the dispute will be referred to mediation or arbitration.

 

7. Governing law

​

This agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
